This is our little home in Roatan Honduras which is just two hours from Miami, Florida and six hours from Chicago, IL. It is a Caribbean island many travelers and investors have overlooked in the past, but not any more. Previously a political battleground for Spanish conquistadors and British pirates, Roatan has become a destination for travelers worldwide who seek relaxation, tropical island life, great diving, beautiful white sand beaches, and something for every kind of traveler with a sense of adventure. There is an endless amount of activities that await you on Roatan that include but are not limited to diving, snorkeling, zip line canopy tours, glass bottom kayaking, fishing charters, horseback riding, mangrove tours, spa's, airplane tours, submarine tours and many other exiting adventures that are awaiting your visit. Our house is conveniently located between West End and West Bay the two most popular places on the island with beautiful hillside views of western sunsets over the ocean. Our property offers you seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the city, with convenient access to all of your entertainment needs. West Bay beach consistently rated a top 10 beach worldwide is a short 15 minute walk down the beach to the west, and West End town full of restaurants, bars, shopping, tour operators and dive shops is located a convenient 20 minute walk on the beach to the east. It is also possible to fly to nearby LaCeiba and take the high speed ferry to the island which runs twice daily.
